We are thrilled to announce that The Partners Fund has acquired a share of the global publishing rights to the first four studio albums by Grammy Award-winning rock band Cage the Elephant. This acquisition encompasses the band’s self-titled debut (2008), Thank You, Happy Birthday (2011), Melophobia (2013), and Tell Me I’m Pretty (2015)—a collection that has significantly shaped modern alternative rock.
Cage the Elephant’s early discography includes several chart-topping singles such as “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked,” “Shake Me Down,” “Come a Little Closer,” and “Cigarette Daydreams.” Their fourth album, Tell Me I’m Pretty, earned the band their first Grammy Award for Best Rock Album in 2017. Collectively, these albums have contributed to the band’s impressive tally of over 5 billion streams worldwide and numerous Gold, Platinum, and Multi-Platinum certifications.
This acquisition aligns with The Partners Fund’s strategy of investing in high-quality, income-generating assets with enduring value. By securing rights to a catalog that continues to resonate with audiences globally, we aim to provide our investors with stable and recurring income streams.
